Precision Systems Engineering was contracted to provide T&M engineering and design services for various small projects at the Plant, Refinery and Concentrator. This work is on-going and has included the following projects: F-Element Modification, Conveyor Sprocket Modifications, Flash Converting Furnace Modifications, Surround Cooling Element, Furnace Calculations, Converting Furnace Repairs, Anode Casting-Shaft Furnace Launder Cover System, Cooling Lines, Distributor Cooling Shields, and Anode casting area Bridge Crane, As-Built Drawings for Smelter Record Keeping Center, Refinery Plant P&IDs updates and Instrument Audit. MCC, Transformers for Thickeners and Clarifier, Slag System Modification. Mechanical, Electrical and Civil/Structural design and engineering support for the Slag System Improvements and Modifications at the Copper Smelter. Work included conveyor transfer points, dust suppression, lubrication system, electrical upgrades, crane rail, slurry pump relocation, plant refurbishment and belt scale installation.
