PSE was contracted to provide preliminary design and a budget estimate to use to create a capital request for funding (CAR). The project expanded their product drying capability by adding hydrocyclones, centrifuges, a fluidize bed dryer and a bag house with associated conveyors, tanks, pumps and blowers to the existing plant.
PSE’s design team considered future expansion in locating equipment and providing for future connections and electrical requirements. In conjunction with our client’s engineering personnel, PSE’s process team created project PFDs & P&IDs. In order to develop costs accurately, PSE provided preliminary equipment specifications, demolition and construction drawings to contractors for development of a budget and construction estimates.
