LOCATION: Eureka, Nevada

Fee: $1.3 Million

PROJECT SCHEDULE: One Year

A mining company in Nevada contracted with PSE to provide a turnkey project for lime storage and loading facilities at the Bald Mountain and Ruby Hill mines. The goal of the project was to optimize the mine’s ore leaching output process.

PSE provided engineering, procurement, and construction management for the facilities, which included a large storage silo complete with pneumatic truck off-loading and dust collection systems. A PLC was implemented to increase productivity by minimizing truck waiting during load-out cycles.

This project involved multidiscipline services including: mechanical, structural, civil, and electrical. In addition, PSE helped design a cantilevered belt conveyor system for haul truck loading including necessary foundations, concrete barriers and walls, and site grading and drainage. PSE was in charge of all document control and construction management for this project.
